SUMMER SHOW 2025

  1. Event Details:
  • Plymouth Cheerleaders Summer Show & Annual Awards
  • Sunday 20th July
  • Stoke Dameral Community College
  • Times: There will be 2 shows. Each student will be allocated to 1 show.
    • Morning show: 10.30am
    • Afternoon show: 13:45pm
  • Allocation: Each student will be allocated to one show. To ensure an even number of performers in each show, we will be pre-allocating students rather than allowing preferences. In previous years, accommodating individual preferences has caused challenges so this approach will help us create a smooth and even-balanced number. However, we will ensure that siblings are placed in the same show.

 

  1. Who Can Participate:

All students currently enrolled with us are invited to participate. To take part, all current students must be registered using the form below by March 31st. Show allocations will be finalised and shared on April 3rd.Ticket information will then be shared.

 

  1. Rehearsal Schedule:

To take part in the show, students must attend all required rehearsals. These rehearsals are essential, as they cover final formations and spacing. If a student misses a rehearsal, it causes disruptions to formations for the entire group, impacting other students and adding unnecessary stress so close to the performance. For this reason, we will be unable to allow students to take part if they do not attend these rehearsals.

Additionally, as this is a new venue (Stoke Dameral), it is crucial that all students attend the venue rehearsal to familiarise themselves with the performance space and complete the full run through of the show.

Mandatory practice dates

  1. Uniform Requirements:

All students will be required to wear the following:

  • Plymouth Cheerleaders uniform top
  • Black leggings
  • Trainers
  • Pom Poms
  • Hair: Half up, half down

 

  1. Awards:

At the end of each show, we will present our annual awards to recognise the hard work and dedication of our students. Every performer will receive a ‘Certificate of Participation’, celebrating their involvement in the show. In each class, we will also present the following awards:

  • Commendation - Medal
  • Most Improved - Shield
  • Teamwork Award - Shield
  • Rising Star - Shield
  • Spotlight Award - Shield

 

The Spotlight Award comes with a two-month free class scholarship.

 

Additionally, we will present the Plymouth Cheerleaders Cup, which grants a year-long scholarship and may be awarded to any student across all the classes.
